We left the port of We and headed north to the port of Jokin on the northern tip of Lifou. After 3-4 hours of sailing we got an updated weather forecast and there was to be a storm coming in in a couple of days, after that very little wind. It made sense to change direction and head to Vanuatu. Otherwise we would spend a couple more days where we were, sit at anchor in a storm and then wait a couple more days as there was no wind. We set off for Vanuatu which was approx 200 miles away, 48 hours sailing, should get there for saturday morning hopefully.
